About The Event
The following event has been postponed. We will announce when we have a new date date. The panel may not be the same as below but the description of what is planned is accurate,
In order for the theater community to better understand how policy makers and community activists addresses the issues around prevention of sexual harassment and harm in the workplace, TALC is presenting a panel to hear from policy makers and ask them questions. The following people have graciously agreed to sit on our panel,
In alphabetical order;
Jill Bernard- HUGE Theater Co-Founder and Director of Education
Shá Cage- Actor, Director, Playwright and Community Activist
James Haskins, Guthrie Theater Managing Director
Hannah Holman, Umbrella Collective Producing Artistic Director
Anton Jones, Climb Theater Artistic Director
Peter Rothstein, Theater Latte Da Artistic Director
Eric “Pogi” Sumangil, Actor, Playwright, and Trainer in Best Practices and Consent
Laura Zabel, Springboard for the Arts Executive Director
We will hear about best practices and proceedures regarding the issues of greatest concern to theater artists. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panel. We anticipate a very useful and informative conversation will take place, so don't miss this one! It will also be a great opportunity for those that are working on the MN Theater Standards to get ideas about what the document we are creating should contain. Please join us, and bring a friend! You do not need to register in order to attend and there is no cost, but please register for the event if you think you will attend so we have an idea of how many people will be there. Rumor has it there will be cookies...
